Happy New Year!

A new year, and so much to be thankful for. We had an amazing 2017 and are looking forward to all that is to come this new year. Venn Floral is going on 4 years! WHAT?! We have so much to reflect on and be thankful for and, as always, are welcoming the calm of Winter to refresh, and set new intentions for ourselves and our business for the year to come. Winter is also prime time for going through ALLLLLL our photos from the year to relive the past season's beauty and find inspiration for those to come. Below are is our first "batch" of some of favorite photographs from the year so far :) To start it off, our best 9 from Intsagram in 2017.

Starting from the top! 1 . Truck load of marigolds from Front Porch Farm for Corazon Healdsburg's Dia de los Muertos celebration. 2 . The juiciest bouquet of the year. COLOR! Yes, please. 3 . Incredible bearded iris from Heather's cutting garden. 4 . Magical, witchy wedding at Straus Home Ranch with some of our favorite souls. Ceremony backdrop photographed by Lucille Lawrence and designed using fallen branches from the property. 5 . THE Venn ladies: Heather and Camille at Rowan Farm harvesting boat loads of iceberg roses for a Spring wedding.  6 + 7.  We concluded that July was our favorite month for flowers this year: Martagon Lillies, sweet sweet Yarrow, ALL the Allium, Clematis, Garden Roses and so many more. 8.  This year was our best wreath year to date! We got REAL into collecting and creating, and ended up meeting some super rad folks thanks to our wreaths. 9.  Little Miss Everlasting..,plus some fresh clematis and artichoke leaves. We got deep into collecting and saving dried materials to combine with fresh to expand our repertoire through the seasons. That's habit we'll be holding onto ;)

The colors say it all. We get SO damn excited when our clients are up for an adventure on the color wheel. Britt was all about it for her June wedding and we're stoked on Jamie Thrower's gorgeous photos from the day.

Straight outta the van, and tucked under tree in the shade before placing on the tables. SO much of our work is the nitty gritty of packing, refreshing water, pulling wilted stems and endless twisting, turning to get to the perfect place before the guests arrive. Thanks for makin' it ALL look pretty, Lucille Lawrence .

Dreamy view from this ceremony site at Cavallo Point. This day was all around perfect, and we are so happy to have met one of our new favorite photographers on this one, Ryan Chard Smith .

Another stunner by Gretchen Gause . Laura + Phillip's October wedding at Olympia's Valley Estate incorporating just a touch of the "harvest" vibe with a fresh take on what that "means".
